When we play, we create symbolic life experiences. It’s essential, because otherwise we would show up to all of our life experiences as newborns, not knowing what to do. A first kiss would the most awkward moment ever.
But play is more than learning. It’s also relaxing, gives us joy and boosts our capacity for creative problem solving.

Well, clearly I am no donkey.
I managed to hit the same stone twice. It hurt, both times. But the second time I knew what to do about it. I turned away from the stone. That stone was my corporate career.
You probably have much more weaknesses than strengths.
That is true for everyone. Do you think that Bill Gates is also a good cook? He himself says he is not. And there are lots of other things he's bad at. Does it bother him? No. Not trying to improve his weaknesses gives him more time to build out his strengths.
Ever noticed that you use the same words for the concept of time as for money?
We spend time, invest our time, waste time and save it. We talk about time as a currency. Because it is a currency.
But for this coin there's no banking app to tell you how much is left.
